Being in my 40s, I found, isn’t about meeting any big milestone, it’s an “accumulation of lots of small experiences.” After years of trying many different things, I’ve learned to look beyond the surface and truly understand my own body so that I can provide the right nutrition from the inside out.

With that, I’d like to introduce you two simple tests I’ve done recently:

  1. The first one is a Food & Drink Scan Intolerance Test. With 45% of the population experiencing FOOD INTOLERANCES and the nagging symptoms that accompany this problem, it is important to identify an individual’s specific
issues with regard to food, drink and ingredients such as spices and herbs. While these reactions are not as severe as allergies, food intolerance has been associated with
a wide range of disruptive conditions such as migraines, skin issues, fatigue and digestive distress such as bloating, cramps and IBS. The test identifies IgG antibody reactions that indicate which items may be causing inflammation and symptoms, defining each individual’s personal “food fingerprint”. This is a simple at-home finger-prick blood test. Once  the blood test is returned to the lab via an easy pre-paid mailer, results will be ready in two weeks and you will be well on the road to understanding what kind of food you should avoid.
  2. The second one is a DEXA Scan Test. You can choose between body composition scan or bone density scan. It gives you the most precise information about your body fat, muscle, and bone composition, and also lets you track changes in body composition over time. We often lose muscle and bone mass as we age, particularly in the core, and legs. This puts us at greater risk of injury. Having a baseline measurement and tracking changes over time helps identify concerning trends and lets us take preventative action early! The scan test is fairly quick and simple, I just lie down in the scanner for around 5 to 7 minutes while the scanner passes over my body taking measurements. And I got my results printed on the spot!

I’d highly recommend both tests so that you can understand and take care of your own body better from within.
