My work schedule gets a little bit hectic this year as I’m going to travel quite often for some exciting new projects. Yet traveling for business presents lot of stresses as well: missing out on sleep, working non-stop on the plane or train, eating unhealthy foods and lack of regular exercise, etc.
Here’re a few tips/essentials that I found very helpful for me:
1) Dress Comfortably: Comfort isn’t a luxury on a business trip, it’s a necessity! I never try to have a different outfit or pair of shoes for every day, instead I stick to one color combination per week. This way it’s so much easier and needs only one or two pairs of business shoes.
2) Carry On: Lightweight and cute carry on bag is so important. I always do carry-on luggage so there’s no wait at the airport.
3) Take Emergen-C: I cannot travel without my Emergen-C Chewables®. I take them everywhere! It can really help when I’m traveling and need some extra immune support. Emergen-C Chewables have 2x more vitamin C than other immune-support product on the market – they’re so convenient to take along, and there is no need for water to take them!
4) Stay Hydrated: The stress of business traveling makes the body dehydrate very quickly. I always avoid drinking alcohol on the plane and skip caffeine and sugar so I’ll feel much better when I arrive.
How are you guys beating the stress from business travels? I’d love to hear!
