Happy Lunar New Year!
February 5th marks the beginning of the Lunar New Year – and for 2019 is the year of the Pig!
Every year Asians all around the world gather with their families to celebrate the Lunar New Year. There are many traditions that Chinese people uphold during this time like lighting firecrackers, writing spring couplets, eating dumplings and wearing red. And red symbolizes good luck and good fortune.
Personally I just like red because it is a very strong color and catches my eye right away. I love the contrast it creates against the usual dark colors people wear in the winter time. I especially love this red jumpsuit, as it offers both femininity and elegance in a simple way!
