When you balance countless responsibilities that go with work, kids, family, blogging, and also try to squeeze some time for your own workout time, you set yourself up for a hard run! At least that is how I feel.

And if you are (like me) in a similar situation, constantly going at full speed while trying to be productive at work, spend quality time with your family and make progress in the gym… you’re probably beginning to feel that something has to give. And you’re right. As hard as we try, it’s just not possible to achieve everything every day.

Not everything has to be perfect. As a busy mom of two, holding down full-time job and blogging job, I learned this the hard way!

That’s why I’m thrilled to be partnering with Reebok Women and their Perfect Never campaign. Over the next few months I’ll spread the message that perfection isn’t the goal, but rather continually striving to be a stronger, healthier and whole version of ourselves.

For today’s post, I’d like to share some tips that I’ve learned along my fitness journey to help me get the most out of my workout.

1) You don’t need to spend hours every day in the gym to get results. The simplest way to do this is to replace your traditional workout with full-body, strength-training circuits. Training both your upper and lower body in the same workout is the key to cutting your time in the gym in half. Advanced barre class is a perfect example of this.

2) You can do it at home. I’ve set up a mini gym at home with Bosu Balance Trainer, free weights, and kettlebells. It’d be perfect to train in the gym if time allows, but if not, you got the basics covered.

3) Nothing needs to be perfect, yet never ever give up!

Thank you so much for visiting!
